Calculate mathematically exact horizontal & vertical field of view (FOV), side monitor angles, and distance offsets with live top-down visual geometry.
Top-down view of driver, line of sight, and dynamic monitor rotation
Skip typing numbers or editing .ini files. The upcoming GridPass Desktop Companion will auto-inject your exact FOV configuration into iRacing in 1 click, calibrate pedals, and register your rig to your Driver GridPass.
iRacing's options menu (Options β Graphics β Display Monitors) does not have a global paste button! Drivers must type in 3 individual numbers. Tap the copy button next to each number below to paste directly into each box:
π‘ Copies: ACC Triple Screen Distance, Side Angle, and Vertical FOV.
π‘ Copies: AMS2 physical screen width, bezel offset, and eye angle.
You already hold a physical steering wheel in your hands. Rendering a second virtual wheel on screen causes severe perspective double-vision and blocks your view of apex curbing.
Your physical eye line must intersect the exact vertical centerline of your displays (or upper 40-50% for GT3 cars) with zero tilt pitch.
Proper mathematical FOV may feel βzoomed inβ at first if you come from arcade console games, but it matches the physical human optical scale.
Create your permanent driver passport, log rig telemetry sessions, calibrate hardware setups, and join competitive paddock time-trials.
